New Super Wedges and Hybrids

by Franklin James

Question: How many strokes do you lose on approach shots close to the green and out of the sand?

Answer: Several.

The short game is where average players have the most room to improve. That is where the majority of practice SHOULD take place. But with a little bit of practice, a better understanding of physics, and the new high-loft wedges offered by DivnickGolf, you can shave an easy half-dozen strokes off your score.

DivnickGolf, innovator of the Whole-In-One Adjustable Golf Club and the BIG STIK high-loft drivers, and our favorite small equipment company has done it again. They have introduced a new line of hybrids and wedges.

Super High-Loft Wedges

What do you do when you have about 20 feet to carry the rough and the pin is only 5 paces onto the green? Most people try to hit the fringe and just hope it slows the ball enough to not run past the cup, especially if there is a trap or water on the other side. If you hit it short, you get buried in deep grass with an even more difficult shot. But that little strip of fringe is VERY difficult to hit. The margin of error is tiny. Your confidence is low. That is NOT a good combination.

Pros open up their wedges by turning them to the right. Then they cut across the ball to offset the open face. But when an amateur tries that combination, it introduces a lot of chances for errors.

DivnickGolf has solved the problem by introducing five new sand and lob wedges from the traditional 52º all the way to an industry high 68º super lob wedge!

Their most popular sand wedge is 56º with a 16º sole bounce that easily lifts the ball out of the sand without digging in. There is no need to open the face. Just go straight after the ball.

Their most popular lob wedge is the 68º with NO sole bounce. This allows you to pick the ball off the grass, go straight at the pin and stop the ball on a dime. You can take the fringe and close rough out of play and hit it close.

DivnickGolf’s sand and lob wedges make it easier for the amateur to hit shots like a pro.

New Hybrids

Hybrids combine the characteristics of a hollow driver with the loft of an iron. The result is nothing short of sensational. People are replacing their entire set of irons with these new designs.

The shell-construction allows a thinner face and MUCH more weight around the perimeter than cast or forged blades, so hybrid clubs hit straighter and are much more forgiving than traditional irons. Thave a significantly lower center of gravity which makes it a lot easier to get the ball in the air. They also generate more back-spin so you can attack the pins and stick the ball closer to the pin rather than hitting it short and hoping it rolls through the rough and stops on the green. Hybrid clubs are larger visually which improves confidence. You KNOW you are going to hit a good shot, so you relax and have better tempo.

DivnickGolf’s new hybrids can help average golfers who struggle with traditional blades lower their score with nothing but a change of equipment.
